Leopold sat in the driver’s seat, started the engine, and drove away.
Thalassa was head over heels in pain, she didn’t want to owe him anything, but he always made her feel indebted.
He rescued her in front of Charlotte, so she owed him a favor.
Now he sent her home again, and she owed him for the ride.

Hearing their tender cries of “mummy”, she felt all the fatigue and heartache were worth it.
