Noah had never suffered a grievance like this before. Six months ago, his mother came to him, she told him that his uncle was having a hard time as the company under his name went bankrupt. 
It happened just a year after his maternal grandfather died. His uncle was given the company to run, and yet, he ended up squandering the fortune by trying to bite more than he could chew. Noah did not have much expectation from a man like him, however under the cries and pleas of his mother, he gave Charli a small warehouse to manage. 
Noah thought that as long as Charlie worked hard and did not make any mistakes, he and his family would be able to live a decent and comfortable life. Who would have thought that Charlie would turn greedy after three months of honest work? 
He took advantage of the fact that he was the of the Madam of the Nelson family and exchange stock before it was sold. The real stock was sold by Charlie, who kept the sum that he earned by selling 
the stock at the same time he pushed the cheap copies

In case someone questioned him, 

‘Are you doubting the legitimacy of the Nelsons?’ 
Charlie would use such a phrase and stop the situation from escalating. Noah had been focusing on the real estate business and did not have the opportunity to care about the clothing business, as he wa. already doing the work of two. 
The clothing businesses were taken care of by the Madam of the Nelson family, but as he never accepted Ari as his wife, he had to deal with the clothing

‘I will be scolded by grandfather once again, Noah thought bitterly. The actions of Charlie have caused a break in the trust with his business partners, and it was going to take a lot of work from his side to rebuild 
that trust. 
“I will pay for the losses that you have faced, inclu the next stock being free. The Nelson corporation w show you the sincerity for the mistakes that are caused by us,” Noah made an offer to Mister Jones, 
who furrowed his brows and looked at him.

His bushy brows twisted lightly before he nodded. Mister Jones remarked, “If you are being sincere, I will accept your offer after all we have worked together for years, but Mister Noah… I hope you will learn from this incident and deal with it accordingly.” 
“I understand, Mister Jones,” Noah smiled professionally before seeing off Mister Jones. 
Once he returned to his office, he questioned Brandon, “What kind of rumours are spreading outside now?” He sighed as he pushed his blond hair back. 
Brandon sighed. He hated this job, if not for the five-figure salary, he would have certainly resigned years ago. His eyes flickered uneasily when he thought of the rumours that were going outside, and he found it more and more difficult to speak. 
“What is it?” Noah noticed that Brandon was not 
speaking and questioned him again. Were the rumo that bad that Brandon was looking troubled? 
“They are nothing different from what we expected, it’s just that… you are now being compared with Nicolai De Luca, –”

He then relayed e rumours that were flying around in the streets to Noah, “They say that if it was Mister De Luca nothing like this would have happened as he knows how to control his people and the fear that he had instilled in them is great.”

Now, even though Noah had reached his position legitimately, he was being scrutinized closely while being judged. 
Noah was dissatisfied with how things were going these days. Ari was nowhere to be found, and his family was busy cutting his roots, just for a w million, his uncle caused the Nelsons to lose their reputation! 
“Nothing is going according to how it was supposed to go,” Noah spat, his fingers were knotted in hi hair and he seemed on the verge of losing control of his patience and anger.

The sound of message notification echoed in the office, but Noah did not pay attention to it. He thought that it was Ariel, as she had been texting him for the past few days. At first, he felt touched as Ariel

However, as the series of messages started to tumble like clothes falling from a messy wardrobe, Noah realized how clingy Ariel could be occasionally. She was simply too childish at times, even when he told her that he was busy, she continued calling and texting him. 
When Ari was by his side, nothing like this happened. That woman knew the meaning of space and gave it to him when he needed it. 
‘However, what if it was Ari who contacted
