Chapter 494Steve’s face turned purple with anger. He had never suffered such humiliation in his life.
The head of the family, Leo, threw the cup in his hand at Steve.
Due to his injuries, Steve was unable to avoid the cup in time, and it hit him.
“How did I raise such a useless son? I entrusted you to protect your niece, but you got yourself into
trouble instead. You’ve disgraced our family!” Leo roared, growing angrier the more he looked at
Steve.
Steve felt wronged. “Dad, it’s not entirely my fault. You don’t know the situation. Ivor brought dozens
of elite bodyguards, especially Floyd. They swarmed me mercilessly, and I couldn’t match them. I
was completely overwhelmed!”
“Damn, that brat from the Knight family! He’s disrespecting our family! Come with me to the Knight
Villa. We’ll demand an explanation!”

“Hmph! Thankfully, not every member of the Knight family is as ignorant as that brat, Ivor. They’re

Steve and Sienna thought the same.
“Grandpa, they beat up Uncle Steve so badly. We can’t let this slide. Regardless of Ivor’s status, we
need Bonnie to apologize to me publicly. Otherwise, I won’t swallow this humiliation!”
“Don’t worry, you’re my granddaughter. I won’t let anyone trample over you,” Leo assured her.While they conversed, Sigmund ushered in about a dozen Knight family members.
Leo and the others were taken aback. Was the Knight family’s sincerity this intense? Almost
everyone had come along.
However, the absence of Ivor and Bonnie made the McLeods feel uneasy.

“Hmph!” Sigmund banged his cane loudly on the floor. “You have the nerve to mention Bonnie! You
allowed your granddaughter to bring military personnel to attack Bonnie and even used pepper

Sienna’s face turned purple from anger, and Leo turned sharply to look at her.
“Sienna! What’s going on? Didn’t you say Bonnie wanted to take Orpheus for herself, so she

“Grandpa! Don’t believe him. He’s just protecting Bonnie. I swear, I didn’t lie to you. Bonnie attacked
me first!” Sienna cried with a pitiful expression.
Leo didn’t quite believe Sienna’s words. “Are you suggesting that, at his age, Sigmund is lying?”
“No, of course not. Mr. Sigmund is highly respected. Why would he lie? Bonnie must have twisted
the truth when she complained to him, making it appear as if I was at fault first.”
The more Sienna spoke, the more aggrieved she seemed. She even started to believe in her
performance and was convinced that Bonnie was the cause of all this trouble.
“Grandpa, if you don’t believe me, you can ask Uncle Steve. He was there. If you ask him, you’ll
